🐝 Issue 21: Going deep

Everything you ever wanted to know about roses

A few weeks ago I shared a little primer on my garden MVP—roses.

With all the questions that came in, I thought a deeper dive was in order.

Enter the Garden People Rose Guide!

A 70 page ( 😯) comprehensive garden guide that invites you to explore the wild world of roses.

You’ll learn about the vast varieties of roses and their characteristics, receive guidance on how to make the best selections for your garden, and understand how to plant roses in the ground and in containers.

You’ll also find essential care practices, common ailments and how to treat them, go-to sources for roses, and Garden People’s all-time favorite rose varieties!

It comes with a small fee, as it took quite a bit of time to put together! I packed it with a lifetime’s worth of information, research and experience. I’m so excited to share it, and sincerelyI hope you find it valuable.

I’d love to have the whole place swimming in roses.

🌸 Flower I’m admiring

I’m in awe of the towering, bobbing spires of the delphinium.

It took a bit of time for me to find a spot where my delphiniums would truly thrive, and at long last I think I nailed it. They are taller than I am, with flower heads as big as my own head.

In iridescent hues of true-blue and pearlescent lilac, the delphiniums look more like a fairy tale flower than that of a common garden.

📖 Book I’m reading

The Principles of Uncertainty by Maira Kalman.

I pick up this brief, illustrated book several times a year. It’s an extraordinary presentation of the ordinary comings and goings of life. I always find myself looking at mundane things with much more intrigue after a reread.

If you purchase the guide, please feel free to email me, as always, with any thoughts or questions!
